Where We Keep Moving & Thriving

Life is not over because we are older. It begins with every new day. Seniors In Motion, Inc. brings Chicago adults 55 and older together through activities, learning, service, and travel.

OUR MISSION

The purpose is simple.

“The purpose is to give seniors' their best days yet — so they can continue to keep moving and thriving.”

Nuda Stewart founded Seniors In Motion, Inc. in Chicago because she saw too many older adults spending their days alone, waiting. Today the organization fills the calendar instead: trips and fests, cooking and fitness, benefits help, and mentoring that reminds our members how much they still have to give.

The vision keeps growing — bucket-list travel, a future community garden (in development), cooking classes, and feeding seniors on fixed incomes.
